It's still there..MX has one daily scheduled flight between DFW and MLM/ZCS on alternating days. MX also has multiple daily DFW flights on behalf of FunJet vacations, serving CUN,CZM,PVR,SJD,etc..MX will be adding more scheduled DFW flights over the next year or so including MZT,GDL,MEX, and a few others.

Someday Mexicana Airlines will become Dallas/Fort Worth Airport's largest foreign flag carrier, chief executive Emilio Romano pledged Wednesday morning before a tour of international Terminal D.
Romano and other Mexican dignitaries, including Michoacán governor Lázaro Cárdenas Batel, are in town to celebrate Mexicana's return to D/FW after a 13-year absence.
The early-morning festivities in Terminal B were punctuated by the announcement that a Mexicana flight from Zacatecas will be the first arrival at Terminal D when it opens Saturday morning.

Yep, for those days they already are seeking for the plane with the new c/s for the media (maybe will be XA-CMA).

Quoting Anthsaun (Reply 12): So far MX plans to add several routes from all over Mexico to feed AA.
And also to get connections from AA, an example, MX809 ORD-MTY-BJX, gets about 40-50 (depends on the season) passengers from AA to connect for MTY or BJX.
Cheers.

Had started to put in separate post, but thought should just add here.
MX flies out of DFW to MLM at 2230 4 days a week, returning about 0700 the following morning. That evening (3 days a week), its out about 2230 for ZCL, returning about 0700 the next morning. And so on ... and so on...
Question is: Is the aircraft just parked at DFW for the 15-hour layover every day? Seems like a huge waste. But AFAIK, there is no other outbound service from DFW, so don't see where they could further utilize that aircraft.
The MLM/ZCL overnight flights would seem like a great use of the aircraft in off-peak, but the all-day layover seems odd.
Is this aircraft used in the charters mentioned above?

I went they on July 23rd when they inaugurated Terminal D. I saw two Mexicana's, one of them parked on a remote area for a while. Based on what I read on the arrivals/dep screens, this is the way I conclude the rotation works:
Plane 1 arrives from either Morelia or Zacatecas about the same time, regardless of their frequency, they both arrive about the same time at 7AM (one or the other), then after one hour the plane is flown on behalf of funjet to Cancun; the planes is seen back at DFW around 1 or 1.30PM and at 2:30 it is flown again on funjet's behalf to San Jose del Cabo; the plane is back to DFW at 8:30PM and heads two hours later back to either Morelia or Zacatecas at 10:40PM. The plane stays in that city until the 5AM return flight back to DFW.
Regarding Plane 2, I do not have the complete itinerary. I saw on the boards a scheduled arrival from Cozumel, so I conclude that it is then rotated to Puerto Vallarta, but I ignore anything beyond these two cities.
The trend is to use the planes flying east in the mornings (CUN, CZM) and west to catch up with time zones to the west (SJC, PVR). Plane 2 should have another rotation to complete the day, but I have no idea where it goes or comes from.

Thanks Mexicana757 and Jose -
Am really glad to see MX back in Dallas, and was not aware of the charters until I saw this thread but was "relatively certain" an aircraft wasn't just sitting there for 3/4 of a day! Your information really helped me understand the scheduling.
Recently had to go to ZCL for a wedding, and the non-stop after work really made it a piece of cake, rather than connecting through MEX. And returning two days later in time to go to work was great.
