El Al is getting an additional 737NG at the beginning of November. It will be known as 4X-EKO.

Thank you Amirs

Given November delivery I assume 4X-EKO will be leased, is that correct?

I assume this will be a 737-800. If not the 800, then a 700. I say the 800 because it is the most popular NG variant, followed by the 700, and also El Al already flies the 737-800.

I am curious to see if its a 73G or a 738 - and, is EL AL's new 737NG a new build from Boeing or a second hand aircraft?

Most of the 737-700 ( except one) are from Boeing (EKI is leased from NAA), and all the 737-800 are from Boeing.
