Quoting CX flyboy (Reply 1): It arrived this evening at around 8:15pm local time (wednesday) as "Hong Kong Shuttle 8002" from BKK.
Does this mean its in service already?!?
Quoting Udo (Thread starter): Attractive tail, but too much white paint on the bird...
{ROTFL} I want the airplane white paint concession. With all of the white paint schemes, I'd be rich!

Not sure if it is in service or not, but delivery flights also have flight numbers . . . so that flight posted in reply 1 could've been the delivery flight into HKG.
Does anyone know the exact delivery routing of this bird? It went the Europe way as far as I know.

Embraer is really churning these things out, arent they. This is three deliveries this week I think.

Does anyone know how many are in service, or on order and who for. I tried sifting through the Embraer site and could not find good info. I think I have the total orders number, but the do not reflect any orders for United Express, and I know they have some.
How many 170s, 175s, 190s, and 195s are out there and who has ordered?

Does anyone have more details about Hong Kong Express? Where will they fly? Just curious--hadn't heard of them until now.

Vector, thank you very much! And is it true as MEL says...that there are only 4 deliveries so far? It seems like a lot more. I know I see a United Express one every morning on my way to work here at IND. Such a good looking aircraft!

No...
United Express (Republic) already received more than 20 different airframes (170´s)... just make a search on the airliners database and you will confirm this...
