Air New Zealand Dash 8 In Reykjavik (RKV)?

What was a Air New Zealand Dash 8 doing in RKV yesterday?

I was in the city before my flight back to London yesterday, can anyone explain why she was there?

Was it the new Dash DHC-8-3 on deleivery via Iceland?

Most probably delivery or MX flight. Its longest overwater leg will probably be OZ to NZ. Expect it to go through Europe, Middle East, India, SE Asia, etc.

It is on a delivery flight "Eastbound".

Well if we knew the reg on the Dash in RKV it would be helpful, but since there can't be that many ANZ Dash 8s around the north Atlantic it is probably a safe assumption that it is the same one in INN.

Many aircrafts make a stopover at RKV during delivery flights. Amongst them are the Dash-8's, which can be seen there once in a while.

Probably that plane left Goose Bay or else in Canada. Stop at Narsarsuaq, Greenland then Iceland.
