Hi Guys
Due to the attacks in London today (21-07-05), does
anyone know if there will any flight disruptions at
any of the London Airports? Were Heathrow & Gatwick
flights operating as normal?
Cheers David

Hi, I'm in France today and I've heard on the radio that the flights from CDG to London would depart about 15 minutes later for security reasons...

I am sure security was majorly increased.........bags were checked very meticulously....I am sure it cause some delays probably from 15-30 on every flight. Nothing major though.......I am sure 15 minutes can be made up flying

I wonder if the trains Heathrow and Gatwick to the center of London were operating. If not, that would result in a very expensive ride to the center. This would not be a fun trip for the budget traveler/sightseer type of individual. Hopefully, they get the situation straightened out. I really feel for the Londoners who rely on this transportation.

Apparently they were - most mainline stations remained open.

I flew out of Heathrow around 7pm. No issues of any kind and no increased level of security (that I could see).
