I REALLY need an answer for this!

In Airways Magazine, they did an article on Canada 3000. In that article, someone from C3 was quoted as saying something to the effect that "the 757 costs $10,000/day to operate."

Was there a typo in this statement?

Should it be:
1)"The 757 costs $10,000/hr. to operate"
2)"The 757 costs $100,000/day to operate"

Thanks much!

I would say its 10K a day.. Only widebodys per hour costs are around $10,000 per hour..

FLY777UAL,

According to Air Transport World figures, this what a 757-200 costs to operate (based on 445 aircraft in service with US carriers). Figures are in dollars per block hour.

Fleet (units) 445
