There are callsigns for letters used in the English alphabet used by pilots and ATC personnel worldwide, as letters by themselves can sound alike, such as D and T for example, especially if radio reception is less than ideal. I only know a few like,

A=Alpha
B=Bravo
C=Charlie
D=Delta(The Greek alphabet for D, not the US airline)
E=Echo
F=Foxtrot(?)

I'd really appreciate if anyone here can come up with a full list of the alphbet callsigns, or direct me to any websites that lists such a thing!

Teahan - Thanks for the list!
ATRPilot, I like that comment.

I can see the annoying purple dinosaur that everyone loves to hate singing out the callsigns!

Please don't! The mere thought of Barney singing the callsigns makes me ill.

Jet Setter=Teahan, An interesting deduction, my friend, but one which I must conclude to be erroneous

Anyway, thanks to ATRPilot and Samurai for giving me a laugh while I'm writing an end of term paper!

A thousand apologies to you, Jet Setter, for making that stupid mistake by referring to Teahan! I'm sorry, I really am.
