Upgrading the A321 to a daily A330 has been in the plans for MEA for some time and I hope they'll be able to do it next year.
Also, MenaJet is doing charter flights to Paris as well during the summer but tickets could be booked only through tour operators. These are non-stop flights but may have a single technical stop on either way of the route.

If BA itself was flying to BEY rather than BMED, I think the 757 would've been more likely the equipment, the 767 also is an option.
I remember coming across a picture of a BA767 in BEY some 10 years ago, but that myaviation search is wicked!
The program for next winter has changed recently.
Initially, AF566/565 was scheduled with a B772ER on 1-345-- and with an A343 on -2---67, the A343 offering the new "NEV" version 30J/261Y to provide extra capacity in Y but this had the inconvenient to offer no First Class on those flights, and First class is very popular on that route...
Apparently, its has changed again with a B772ER DAILY except on Saturday (B77W).
I think it's more a question of commonality : with a B772ER Crew in BEY everyday, it will be much easier for AF to swap from a B772ER to a B773ER at the last moment according to the booking or/and a/c availability.

The seat Config; on the B772ER is still the same (12P/56J/202Y) as none of them has been reconfigured yet in the "NEV" version.
The B773ER are all in the "NEV" config; with 8P/67J/235Y
I Checked the AF reservation system yesterday and for the moment, AF566/565 is a B773ER on all Saturdays starting Nov.5th but you know, CDG-BEY is a short flight and with the crew commonality, it is very easy for AF to change a/c at the last minute, even D-1 !
