Rumor: Colgan To Start UEX Ops From IAD

Not sure if this is true...heard it from a Colgan employee.
He told me that Colgan will be starting UEX ops from IAD in November of this year using SAAB 340 equipment. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Yes - this is to replace Shuttle America since they are phasing out SF340 ops by year end.

Yes.

I'm not sure if the UEX is 100% yet, but Colgan is bidding on some EAS service that would link IAD to a couple smaller markets...

Not at the moment they're not. They do, however, already serve several EAS markets from IAD as US Airways Express: AOO, BKW, BLF, SHD.
