Hi.
Is there any airlines that you wished had kept the previous Liveries or ones further back?

I have a few.

This was the best Livery and I think they should have it now but with the white tail with the M that they have at the moment.

I hate this Livery, it was ugly.

I think this is all right but needs something new.

I miss the British Airways livery of the late 1980s-mid 1990s - it was much nicer and classier than the current one. Likewise, Virgin Atlantic - the red and white was, in my opinion, much easier on the eye than the current silver and whatever.

I am glad that Ethiopian hasn't changed its livery in decades - it's my all-time favorite, just as fresh and vibrant as when I first saw it thirty-three years ago!

This's exactly how I feel about Middle East Airlines (MEA) my country's flag carrier.

I like Monarch's colours, the yellow and black is very stylish and unique. I hat it when airlines change for the sake of change - Alitalia looks bang up to date, even though it dates from the mid 70s. AA is another example, and that dates from before 1970. BA needed a change, I always thought the 'fag packet' livery was crap, and that grey was so dreary. Loved the World Images (reminded me of Braniff at their most imaginative) but it was never going to work with so many jingoistic idiots paying the big bucks for first and biz. They want to fly the flag, the morons. Don't they get the fact that airlines are breaking down national barriers?

As for MEA, I love that airline as my username might suggest. Hisham, I'm not sure what point you're trying to illustrate with the old / new MEA shots. See my seperate post about MEA.

DL should never have introduced their current 'new' paint job. The BA World Tails were creative, but I think they were too complex to maintain cheaply- didn't Mexicana have that problem when they swiched c/s to the colored tails a few years back? I actually like SAA's new c/s- the Tail makes up for the white fuselage.
