Just read post on TWA in the 70s..Pulled out an AA Time Table from Jan. 1977..How about this....NS 707! RT between PSP and LAX..NS D10 ORD to IND...NS 707 BDL to JFK..NS 747! BOS to JFK..NS D10 BUF to ORD...Four Daily 707s..ORD to ROC..NS 707 ORD to CVG..Three daily 707s SYR to ORD..NS 707 BNA to CVG..3 daily D10s and 2 707s SAN to LAX...AA had Nothing in Florida...Nothing in the South East..Nothing in the North West..Of course Nothing in Europe,South America,Central America or Asia.....Amazing how they could use those Big Gas Eaters..707s D10s and 747s on those short routes..Times do change dont they...

AA had a pretty decent operation at STL back then...care to share some highlights? I wonder what it compares to today...AFTER TWA and Ozark have left the scene.

OzarkD9s. You're Correct... In 1977 From STL AA had NS flts. to..ORD ,CVG,CLE,DFW,IAH,LAX,LGA,JFK,OKC,PHX,TUL And a 1 stop 707 to HNL

Cool! Thanks for the info. I know they operated out of B Concourse and had all (8-10?) gates at one point. Seems like they served STL better in those days than they do now.  Wink
