Just came back from the airport and witnessed the AC E175 land..... I was stunned! What an airplane and what a sight indeed! The nose, the winglets, it is a very sexy plane!

Just wanted to give my opinion and see if anyone else has seen it yet and their opinion.

I did manage to snap some nice photos in perfect light... the links are below if the embedded pix fail to open

It certainly is a beautiful plane! I can't wait to see B6's 190s here in the near future!

I would suggest to pull that photo and correct color levels. Otherwise you're gonna get badcolor.

It is not AC's fault that is the color of the plane. That really is the color of the plane, right?

Well it's Friday morning 7-29 and so far the E-175 is doing AC 700-703 YYZ-LGA-YYZ due back in YYZ around 10:00A. Maybe someone from AC can access the rest of the day's planned flying !

I haven't been able to figure out how to delete a photo from the upload queue.

Hi Martin. I think part of the problem is that although the sky is blue the plane itself was not sunlit. That seems to affect the colour.

What a beauty! We've been seeing the E170 a lot at IAH for United Express (Chautauqua). On the AC E175, you can really get a better sense of how high the windows are - it is harder to tell (I think) with the United livery.

I saw one of United's in YOW two days ago and at first I had no idea what it was. I think it looks like a baby A319 with winglets.

Promise me you'll always leave the ground

Good question...that's what everyone wants to know! My guess--and this is just a guess--is that they will be used initially to add frequency on the JFK-upstate NY routes, perhaps a couple of new "connect the dots" routes within the existing network (e.g., maybe JFK-BOS), and then add a new city or two sometime in the winter.
