JAL flies a 747 from Tokyo a few days a week, BA does and I think Virgin may when it starts service, and also UA flies a 747 there from Chicago I believe. There may be a few charter 747s, too, but those would be pretty rare.

UA does not fly 747's ORD-LAS. We fly B757's and 763's.

well, I'm almost sure I saw one there once. It was a couple of years ago, though. Did you guys switch the DC10 too? (I am positive I saw one there a few months ago) Thanx.

Family Airlines flew to Vegas, using a 747-136 (ex-British Airways/BOAC); however the venture was short lived and the aircraft was scrapped.

Virgin will fly 747-200s to Las Vegas when their flights from LGW start. BA don't fly to Las Vegas.

Did they ever in the past? I think I have seen ticketing counters and baggage reclaim offices for BA at LAS.

I have seen a UA 744 at LAS as recently as December '99.

The BA logos that appear at LAS are associated with their codeshare flights from Phoenix via America West Airlines.
