Gulf Air Flat Bed Rollout?

Hey guys, thinking of booking a trip to Australia for the opening of my new apartment building in Brisbane. Very tempted by Gulf Air because I constantly hear great things about them and they offer very competitive Business Class prices to SYD from LHR. Does anyone know how the progress of their new Business Class flat bed product is going, and what routes will they offering the service on?

I am looking to travel in March of April of 2006!

Any info would be great.

They were expected to be conpleted on all their 332 by Nov, and have already been installed on some of the 332s.

In your case atleast from LHR you will get them in March and April

They are targeting Europe initially with their A330s. Currently it is on AUH-LHR-AUH, BAH-LHR (afternoon flight), LHR-BAH (overnight flight), BAH-CDG-BAH. It will also be on their BAH-DUB-BAH route from December.

I'm sure A340 will follow, however Mar/Apr 06 may be pushing it. I am amazed that they haven't re-deployed their A330s on the BAH-SIN-SYD route. This is their longest flight, and their new aircraft (which is very impressive) would compete well in the premium classes against other carriers on the kangaroo route.
