The DOT approved Sun Country to fly DFW- San Jose del Cabo. They also applied for PVR, CZM, they were denied due to AA and Champion Air already flying on the route. Service is to start May 1, 2006

I can see that. I'm all for competition, but DFW's fast becoming a Mexican domestic hub. (although I will make use of those Cabo flights!  scratchchin  )

Right, DFW is becoming a Mexican domestic hub. Only IAH, LAX and PHX have more flights to Mexico than any other airport. ( I don't have any data, just guessing)

Well The VP of Mexicana did say that their Airline will become the largest foreign flag carrier at DFW in the next couple of years.

I have an off-topic question about Sun Country @ DFW: Why are they not listed on the Airline/Terminal signs on international Parkway? Even Funjet is on there now that D is open....

Not that difficult. With two daily flights, they're 2/3rd the way there.

Great!!! (sarcasim) another airline crowding into an already crowded airport. SJD really needs to do something badly if its picking up new service like this!

Should be good, I took AA down to SJD for Spring Break, I got a great deal too, this should make for some real good prices!
