For some reason.... it looks like UA896 Hong Kong-Chicago is stopping in Minneapolis for a brief period today. I'm pretty pissed it's not stopping here in Winnipeg, but oh well. Just a heads up for MSP'ers.

Due in at 14:31 according to UAL.com

I might go into work a little early. I work on the ramp for United here at MSP. It's weird that it doesn't give a reason for the diversion and it also isn't in the system as a schedule change, which is odd.

I was driving up 169 in Hopkins, looked up, and saw a UA 744 on approach for 30R. Definately out of the ordinary here. Had to call some people and let them know  Wink

Hmmm.....Very Interesting considering it landed on 12R. Anyway I presume you just make a directional error with the runway heading, but yeah it was quiet a sight to see!
