Iraqi Airways In Istanbul After 14 Years

After 14 years, Iraqi Airways made its first flight to Istanbul Ataturk International Airport from Baghdad.

They will fly between Baghdad and Istanbul 2 times a week.

Unfortunately I don't know the type of the aircraft...

A long time ago, Iraqi Airways flew to Belgrade, too. I loved their 722s and would love to see them again.

That's great news!! As far as I know Iraqi Airways currently operates the B737-200Advanced as well as the 767-200ER but I don't know on which routes these aircraft are used as of yet. Good to see Iraqi Airways slowly coming back to life again. I love their green livery and it's truly one of its kind in todays all-white airline era.
