Hola Airlines Fleet Expansion?

Last I heard was hola were thinking of aquiring a 757 to offer additional capacity to operate alongside their 733s. They appeared to be picking up quite a bit of business, particularly from UK tour operators out of regional UK airports.

Any news on the airline?

I haven't seen or heard of them for quite a long time, so much that I thought they had turned their back on the UK. What routes are they operating to the UK?

btw, Hola Airlines was the name I thought of around 13 years ago, when I was thinking of naming an airline and holiday company.

Apparantly, Hola already do operate a B757 (this was news to me also!). EC-ISY (ex Iberia) has been in the fleet since Nov 2003.

Interesting livery, no titles, thought it may have been a hybrid but given it's nothing like it's previous operator's colour scheme, then I'm guessing this may be Hola's new livery? Shades of old Britannia I think!  Smile And a definate improvement on the livery on their 733's, the most unimaginative colour scheme (or lack of) in history!

Yes, I loved the name 'Hola airlines' but the livery dissapointed. A bright sunshine colour would be ideal for a charter airline operating to Sunny Spain.

To me, nothing said "Sunny Spain" more than Hispania's livery. Sadly missed.

I'm sure I read somewhere that they have recently returned one of their leased 737s.

Hi,
The 757 they operate used to belong to IB, and still keeps the same seats and configuration, even the seat covers are still the same.
