I don't think they were ever flown to the mainland, they were for services south and east (Pago Pago, Nandi et al). Don't know how long they lasted, but they looked beautiful, with the red orange and white colours and flowers in the cheatline - very tropical. Shame they didn't persevere, they would have been welcome down my way (Sydney).

Who is delivery from Aloha to airline of the DC10 now? Anyone can research the msn/id shipment former Aloha. I don't have detail on my book of the INTAG (International Airline Guide) I do have JP fleet the last time bought was back 1994. This is so expensive book for me!! I wish buy one that book next year I hope so. They were more detail everything on JP book rather than INTAG book. Thanks...

The Investigative Reports show on LAX had several shots of Hawaiian DC-10s. Note that these are Hawaiian Airlines DC-10s, not the Aloha Airlines DC-10 being disucssed in this thread. Aloha's first service to the mainland occurred earlier this year, when they inagurated service from Honolulu and Kahului to Oakland with 737-700s. The Aloha DC-10 was used for an operation dubbed Aloha Pacific, which as mentioned earlier was to serve various South Pacific/Asian destinations. Due to weak loads and inability to secure desired traffic rights to serve various international destinations, the Aloha Pacific service was suspended and the DC-10 removed from the fleet.
