Can anybody point me to information on Slok Airlines in its current form?
Where is it based? What routes does it have? Any revenue figures?
Is there any airline providing support and know-how to Slok?

SLOK do not fly into Lagos or Nigeria for that matter, let's get this clear. When a chartered SLOK 737 flew the Guinean president into Abuja last week, it caused a confusion as the media and public thought for a second Slok's Nigerian AOC had been reinstated when the truth was it was simply a Gambia-registered a/c on a charter flight.

Although the owner of this airline is a Nigerian MP and has operated in Nigeria initially, the authorities revoked their AOC over a safety shortcoming. After all restart attempts failed, the owners in question (who happened to be a politician) accused the govt. of banning SLOK for political reasons.

Since then SLOK moved to Gambia where it re-registered a few 737-200s and planned to grow into a large airline with flights to Europe and North America.
The Gambians also granted it "flag carrier" status.

If there is a will, there is a way
