While I Was Employed At YX.......

Not to say the experience I had working for Midwest Airlines was bad. I just had one situation that happened to me and like to know what the rest of you think....
I was assigned to charter flights one day and all the sudden we had a Miami Air 737 come into one of YX gates. Us rampers were told to unload the luggage, we did so and we thought we were done. Guess not, turned out they wanted us to groom the aircraft as well. So it was kind of a hostile situation to begin with. I found myself gathering pillows and tossing them in a overhead storage bin (to be sorted out by me later), when all the sudden all the flight attendants (sitting in the back of the plane watching) started laughing and clapping at me. I did not know what to think, so I just laughed, walked away, and didn't go back there again. It seemed to me that their actions towards me were very immature and very unprofessional. Any thoughts?

Who told you to groom the airplane, because I wouldn't told them to get the groomers onboard since that's what they get paid to do. Second of all, that's is just poor team work on behalf of the Miami crew, its their plane and if it was just pillows, that's there job not yours.

In the end did you tell the ramp sup on duty?

You should call the guys from BA and ask them what they would have done in that situation.

Screw the FA's. You were doing your job and that explains why YX is the best care in the air and Miami Air is the flying turd.

To be honest with you I'm trying to see any relevance to posting this. Sure it sucks but everybody here puts up with a lot of shit at their job, and we don't come on here and post nine-month old stories. If that's all you have to complain about you are lucky.

They probably laughed and clapped because you were being a drama queen the way you were throwing blankets and pillows around looking very immature, much like you are now.

Oh no... you had to do something that you weren't happy about doing? Where were you based? Every encounter with Miami Air that I've had has been excellent. Sometimes you have to do stuff in this industry that your not happy about doing... ie. grooming a plane, dumping a lav, etc., but its gotta be done and sometimes your the one who has to do it.

Oh well, too bad, so sad. Get over it.

Hey Obama, keep the change! I want my dollar back.
