Does anyone know what is going on with Universal Airlines flights to YHM? I just did a flight booking of there wesbite and it the earliest date that you could book was Sept 28th and it showed Equipment as 757. Has anyone herd anything?

Last I herd they were waiting for government approval because of some complication with there aprivious approval because they were using an A320 leased form Taca.

Input would be great.

Hy Fly_YHM,

I supose you are talking about Universal Airlines Guyana (UW/UVG)!!!

The 757 equipment is leased when required Loftleidir Icelandic in C14 and Y194.

And the first date to flight YHM - GEO... I find in their website that there are availability in August 17. It´s possible that you searched in other web page than (www.universal-airlines.com)???  confused

I had an email discussion with a person in marketing at YHM about Universal's service from YHM and they said that "I know they are working very hard to be up and running soon.". I never know what soon means.

In reference to the original post what is "there" website? I don't quite understand? When you state their website is over "there", Where is that? Their website is over there? Where? Do I need to go somewhere to find it??? Is that where you "herd" it? How many people are in this herd? Are there many? Are they at the farm with the herd of cattle? I am lost because of the way you are writing to me as a captive audience and trying to get your point across to me/us. I can understand because you are telling me that the herd is over there. Is that correct?

What??? So if we here online should or be forced to accept that you're half asleep while posting you should not post in this manner. Perhaps you should relay to us your ideas and feelings once you are properly awake and can speak and write to us in a more concise and coherent manner if you want us to read and understand the point you wish to convey.

notdownnlocked, I suggest you lighten up a bit.

Not everyone on this international forum has the same grammar, language, and typing skills yet most of us get the meaning behind the words and are not critical of others.

I saw a pic of a Univrsal A-320 (leased from TACA) just recently. Did they acquire an additional 757, as well? Or did they recently return the A-320 for another 757? Last I heard, they got rid of the FI 757 in favor of the TA A-320.

I was golfing at Oak Gables on Hwy 2 in Ancaster last night. It is close to YHM and under the flight path for 12L. Transmeridian B752 came in nice and low and was early (forgot the camera). It looked great. I have been told that because of the bigger aircraft that Universal will be only doing the flights twice a week for the time being.

P.S. I missed it's departure as I was in the woods.

Quote from todays "YYZ News.com"

"7) Universal Airlines Inc. (UW/UVG) ....has applied to the CTA on behalf of itself and TransMeridian Airlines Inc. for an approval to permit Universal to provide its scheduled international service between Hamilton and Georgetown Guyana using aircraft and flight crew provided by TransMeridian Airlines from August 17 to September 16, 2005. The CTA has approved the request."
