CO.com now shows EWR-EDI (CO 36/37) being changed to a 767-200 starting Oct 30th. Guess it's the winter schedule change, going from 2x 752 service to daily 762 service. Music to my ears...I love the micro front Y cabin on CO's 762's and increased BF award/UG availability to EDI will be nice.

The reference to increased BF availability is in comparison to last year's off-season schedule, and not to the current BF capacity of 2x 752s

I do think the 752 BF seat is more comfortable than the 762 one, but the 762 center seat is nice for one person, and the PTV is bigger with more channels.

Will be good to see a regular 762 service into EDI.

This is good news, shows strong demand for biz class and presumably cargo. Will be interesting to see what they do for next summer, I don't believe they will have finalised that yet.

there is absolutely no cargo demand to EDI...both current 757 flights carry next to nothing monthly...if we upgrade EDI to a 762, I would guess we could take the wide body GLA freight we currently back haul thru LGW and send it there and truck it...frankly GLA is a much wiser use of wide body a/c...but thats scheduling w/a passenger oriented airline...

This is interesting news. Is EWR to BHX staying 757 twice daily or is that also going to once daily 76?

762s really don't hold much cargo, do they? Isn't that one of the drawbacks of the plane anyway?

It depends on what you are comparing to the 762. Compared to a 752 the 762 holds considerably more cargo.
