Say a pax is travelling from point A to point C, connecting in B. However, B is shut down due to wx and the flight gets diverted to his final destination, C. Would this pax be allowed to get off the plane at C, seeing that it's his/hers final destination anyway?

Im not sure, But I'm going to guess no due to the fact that it would make a hell of alot of sence to let said pax get off and get them out of the way and that would just make too much sence for many airlines.

Logically, it would certainly make sense, but I didn't know if there was some sort of bureaucracy that would prevent it from happening. IMHO it would be a minor inconvenience to have to return to the airport for my bags later compared to having to sit in the plane for who knows how long.
