United plans to open a new service from Washington/Dulles to Copenhagen, Denmark. The service will probably be operated in co-operation with Star Alliance partner SAS.

A good idea, since United and SAS can only truly cooperate on flights from
Chicago at the moment. I never thought SAS was a good fit for United. It
would seem as though American would have been a more logical partner,
given American's daily ORD-Stockholm Arlanda 767-300 service.

United will probably fly the 767-300 on the new route.
