Omni Air DC-10s ATH-JFK - Why?

Hi guys,


Everyday I check the arrivals and departures at EWR and JFK. And I have been noticing lately that alot of Omni Air DC-10's have been flying from Athens,Greece to JFK. Are these flights bringing our boys home from IRAQ???

AMC flights dont stage thru JFK nor Athens.

Flights you have seen are for Homeric Tours.

Also, I belive that previously ( up until summer 2004 ) Homeric used North American Airlines for charter flights to ATH and various other places. However, I also understand that North American have some difficulties right now and not flying these routes.

Some Omni Air Flight out of JFK to ATH are also freighters, however would probably not show up on the JFK FIDS.

Omni does not have any DC-10 or B757 freighters.

OAI (Omni Air Int'l) does have cargo DC-10s. I seen 2 of them at BWI. yes
