Apparantly SN Brussels will paint 2 aircraft in an Asterix livery (as in the comic book, not an *)

I'm very curious about this. Asterix used to be (OKOK, still is) one of my favorite comics. Does anybody know about this, and which planes will be painted? (which types)

Will look great !

I'm looking forward to see the a/c in question Big grin

Anyway according to http://www.cedimho.be/eurobd/news.html , it's a big advertisement for a new Astérix film : Astérix and the Olympic Game

Ahhh, I see. Well, I hope they will put the comic book characters on the planes and not the live action actors!!! (though that will probably be the case)

In my link, it's saying that they will put the portrait of Axtérix on the a/c, so I think (and hope like you) that they will put the comic book characters

It's saying also that Brussels is the "launch city" of the new film !

So it's logical that they have chosen SN...  Smile

They could of course also mean the movie-asterix (the actor in his Asterix role). Well, let us both keep our fingers crossed, because I agree with you 100% that the SN aircraft with the comic-book Asterix will look awesome!!

That would also be great. Asterix and TinTin were the two comics I read the most growing up.

I've nothing against Pokemon, but Asterix and Tintin are much better IMHO.

I'm totally agree with you !  crazy

But we cannot compare Astérix/TinTin and Pokemon, that's the "day and the night"

Anyway I hope they will paint Astérix on an A330 !  bouncy

But in French idefix means something (idee fixe) : permanent idea  Smile

Something with when idefix started to follow Obelix...

Anyway I can't wait to see that great bird  bouncy

Dogmatix is the name of that dog in the English version of the series.
In French it's Idéfix, or "Obsession"
Belgium has a wonderful tradition in terms of Cartoons and Comics; it's only natural for SNBrussels' planes to reflect that now and then.
In all cases, can't wait to see it...
Cheers,
Wassim.
