Because EZY are going to fly EDI-GVA

EDIT: Sorry, they are flying from GLA to Geneva aswell. I picked up on it wrong but:-

EZY fly 9 routes from EDI and only 7 from GLA (incl. GVA), so GLA will want more routes probably.

If you must know BAA GLA have been in discussions with EZY for months now, with Germany being the top priority. So its not really anything to do with wanting more routes than EDI, its the fact that EZY are the airline in the best position to offer flights between GLA and Germany. Rumours elsewhere have suggested 5 A319's being based at GLA next Summer.
