A-I CMD V Thulsidas told ET that load factors from Kerala for its budget carrier were in the region of 95-97%, and the trends suggested that lower fares will continue to drive traffic up. Hence, the airline will consider revisiting its fleet expansion numbers again. A-I will get four more Boeings on lease in Q1 of ’06, which will increase the AI Express fleet strength to seven planes. The report says " The airline is currently flying three leased planes and has proposed purchase of 18 Boeing 737-800s. The pre-PIB clearance has been given and A-I is awaiting go- vernment nod to place the order. ", now where does this order stand compared to the one by the parent company?
