Cabin Interior,@any Airline Without Carpet?

I just wonder if there is any airline having vinyl like material, just like for galley, for entire cabin floor for easier cleaning and lighter weight of the aircraft?

how well would it dampen noise though compared to carpets?

It would be awfully noisy in that plane to have anything but sound absorbing materials. Not sure vinyl would work....

I flew once in the 80's on a AR 707-387C in First, and all the section was fitted for cargo (no carpet) I'm not sure if the material was vynil but it was black rubber with parallel grooves.

Actually, FR uses ground-up bones from old passengers. They get it from their complaints department...

I was on a KLM flight from GLA to LCY some years ago that had a vinyl kind of flooring. What with the engines being at head level as well, this made for a quite noisy flight!
