Has anyone heard anything new about UA's F/As actually implementing CHAOS strikes? The AFA website keeps telling F/As to be prepared, but that has been going on since the first week of July.
At some point, the union either has to conduct one or more strikes or negotiate a 401(k) plan with management, but it can't keep sabre rattling indefinitely.
If AFA really wanted to inflict some damage on UA, it would strike either flights going into and/or out of MSP, DTW, and MEM, or flights that have a lot of passengers that were rebooked from cancelled NW flights.

It's not clear how the AMFA strike will impact NWA. I have a ORD - PIT trip tomorrow on NW, I don't think there will be any problems. We'll see though - it did cross my mind when I bought my ticket today.

Actually UA F/A's have been showing a little bit of CHAOS all ready. I know in HKG they were out and about at the ticket counter and I believe also in NRT.

I hope they aren't raising too much CHAOS this next weekend at ORD or MSN & CMH. I'm flying them and I've got an extra $100 for them to move me to another airline if there is any problems....
Hey Obama, keep the change! I want my dollar back.

Well lets see MSN is an AWAC station operated flights by AWAC, so no there will be no disruption. Just in ORd you may see some of the mainline F/A's creative CHAOS.
