I am just guessing: Probably AA's DFW and MIA hubs and LGA.

Next flights: MEX-GRU (AM 77E), GRU-GIG (JJ A320), SDU-CGH (G3 73H), GRU-MEX (JJ A332).

Are you serious? ORD-MDW with a 757? Wow talk about a scheduling mishap.

It was likely repositioning a aircraft after a charter. AA flies the Chicago Whitesox, they usually leave from MDW, airplane is from ORD.

LOL--first off--LGA is not that far from MDW--what is it? Maybe 1:45 if that? COEX is running ERJs from Houston to California.

With ease. Regional jets fly plenty of routes much longer than LaGuardia-Midway.

Narrowbodies like the A319, A320, and 73G fly many trans-continental flights. The longest domestic flight in the lower-48, MIA-SEA, is flown with a 737.

CO flies OKC-EWR, that's a bit further than MDW-LGA, although CO does have those 145-XR's.  Smile

Im at work right now and checking my reservations computer, MDW service for AA, they fly 4 RTs between MDW and DFW only with MD-80s.....They used to fly the route with Fokker 100s until they went byebye....
In modern times that seems to be the only route they have flown from MDW since they originally pulled out and moved to OHare....Altho I do remember in the early 90s AA jumped into the MDW-DFW presumably to fill the void left by the just Bankrupt Midway Airlines. Back then they used 727-100s. The recent re-startup was in response to ATAs entry into the MDW-DFW market. ATA also flies about 5 times per day to DFW using 738s.
