You know with all this hype surrounding the upcoming livery, you know it's still going to boil down to a conservative mix of white, blue, and possibly green and orange stripes and tail logo.

Many of us are going to look at it and say "you mean THAT'S IT?"

It will most likely not be anything new or breathtaking. Just a same conformist variant of all the existing liveries already out there.

Of course others will be foaming at the mouth oohing and awwing over it, talking about how "refreshing" and "modern" it is; how it's now "their favorite livery of all time".

Of course these are usually the same people for whom ANYTHING "new", even if it's an all white fuselage with nothing on it, would consider it a "refreshing" and "modern" livery that will be their all time favorite.....solely and entirely....because it's "new".

..and that's only until the next "new livery" comes along.

Hmm...not bad. But I think it would look better on a Frontier jet than a combined HP/US.

But I like your thinking.

Although I do love the current US Airways colors, and will definitely miss them.

How original, an USA 3000 rip off

Really boring livery, It doesn't even come close to the black, stylish US livery

I think the current livery is much better, and still one of the best in the industry. This one is okay but I hate the way the stripes end in the front. Looks like a frown.  Sad

Indeed, I like the old livery much better. The old one is one of my favorites actually. Together with Air Jamaica. Now that's a colorful livery!!! (Or the old Surinam Airways livery, much better than the current one)

Okay, the last livery they had was a classic, but this is the best they could do after the merger.
I think it looks pretty stylish myself.

Does that mean there are no airlines with an all-black body?

What a shame, US Airways livery was something special... Especially on those beautiful A330s...

More and more US airlines are adding white, to be the main livery color. The gray of United is gone, and now the black of US is gone too. Im not saying that the liveries are boring, but theres too many with white!

That's what a few of us were wondering while we were waiting for the new plane to take off at the Fire Training Center; before I had to leave for work.

Hopefully, they'll just replace the titles but keep the livery intact. Who knows, maybe there will be a few more special liveries... Philadelphia Eagles livery anybody???? After all US is (to my knowledge) still the 'official' airline of the Philadelphia Eagles... yeah I know the team actually uses NW.
