According to www.ch-aviation.ch, Croatia Airlines plans to lease two ATR 72s. The same internet source announced few months before that Croatia Airlines planned to lease several (four) CRJs to replace its existing ATR 42 fleet.
Now this news with ATR 72. I would personally love to see ATR 72 in new Croatia colors, but on what routes will they be used? Munich did cross my mind, eventually Vienna, but what other cities than these two? Can Zurich make ATR 72 profitable out of Zagreb now when Zurich is no longer a main hub!?

What did I miss??? ZRH has long-haul routes to IAD on UA, to SIN with SQ, BKK with TG and YYZ on AC. Plus several European destinations with SK, JP, LH, OS, LO and TP... Of course, i'm only counting Star Alliance traffic which is likely the fedder for/from Croatia Airlines. And LX to come next year although its traffic can be also counted know, JFK, ORD, BOS, LAX and MIA on the long-haul
Of course all the hub-thing can only be achieved with several daily frequencies, but thats how a regional airline (croatia) works, doesn't it?
