I've never been huge on TAME's c/s, especially with the nose cone being white or light grey. And the 170 dosent make it look any better.
Quick question, is the yellow on the leading edge of the engine nacelles paint, or some sort of protective coating? If its coating, take it off! If its paint, WTF were they thinking?

I like TAME's colors, even the strangely placed yellow color on the nacelles. Don't know if that's part their livery and if so, I agree, it is somewhat odd, but I still like it.
Vector, do you know the delivery date? What about the initial ops date?

Same thing here. Those have to be anti-ice which uses bleed air so they'll have to withstand high temps. I hope it's just the protective cover that peels off.

How far can TAME fly the 170 out of UIO? I know the 170 from DEN has major payload restrictions--I can't imagine what it's like out of UIO.
The white nose is a big topic discussed between us in TAME. When HC-CEH arrived with the all colored nose, many people realized it was better, but never the less, people say it gives it a nice look. Id love to see the A320's with colores nose.
Im not in Ecuador now, so when I arrive from FRA next week I'll chat with the people to ask if they will eventually change this. I really dont like the white nose. But about the livery, its a pretty nice one. Maybe a interesting alternative livery will come in a few months. Gotta see.

This is somethign Im not so sure about, but considering UIO's altitude (9300 ft) the plane cant do such a fully loaded take off. A fuel stop in GYE might be necesary for a long flight to Galapagos is my guess. All though, when I flew the prototype EMB 170, we were pretty loaded and still, what a climb rate, and what a force those engines have!
