Which airline currently has the most international departures per day...count all flights that are considered international..which would make that airline the the worlds busiest/largenst international airline carrier? (again total international departures per day WORLD WIDE) (ex. lax-syd on ual would count as would syd-sfo on ual)...

I'm pretty sure its Air France-KLM, followed by Lufthansa.

I was going to say AF or BA...unless maybe one of the orient or middle eastern carriers picks off more internationals just because of the locations.

Well I know that CO serves more destinations worldwide than any other airline, but I would doubt that that would correspond to the greatest number of departures. Many of the cities they serve are either once daily flights from EWR (to Europe) or once daily flights from IAH (to Mexico).

I'd say either BA, AF-KLM, or LH..... And AF-KLM only if you count them together. I'm leaning toward BA having the most intl departures though, simply because of their enormous ops out of LHR.... They do operate a lot of inter-English Isles flights, but LH also has a lot of domestic flights as well, probably more than BA(?). I dont think LH has as many destinations as BA does internationally...Then again these are just guesses....

The post is Airline singular, AF-KLM is two separately branded airlines, so perhaps they shouldn't collectively be considered.
My guess is BA, simply because of the large numbers of B747s and B777s that they have and they are not used on domestic routes or european routes.
Since the question is international and not intercontinental, the large narrow body route which does european routes can also be considered as International and added in.
