Why No Any Of The Indian Airlines In SFO?

why not any Indian airlines operate their own fleet to SFO instead of code-share with SQ, and seems like a lot of people coming from India to SFO, why don't AI or any other Indian airlines fly once or twice a week to SFO?

AI has said that they will launch SFO mostly via FRA as soon as they get the aircrafts to fly the route

Winter seems a little soon. Most airlines are currently working on their winter schedules. What planes will AI be getting that fast to launch SFO? My money is on spring 2006 at the earliest.

Wasn't there rumors of Jet Indian starting SFO with A340's?
