Ryanair have today annouced a Luton-Knock service and will now offer flights to Knock from all three of London's airports which Ryanair serves. (LTN, STN and LGW.)

The service is due to commence on the 30th October and coincides with Ryanair no longer flying to Dinard and Ebsjerg which will be switched back to their Stansted hub on this day.

Also the Luton-Shannon service has been operated by a Shannon based aircraft, but from the 30th October will be operated by a Luton based aircraft.

So these are simply replacement routes for the services that are ending at LTN on the 29th October, to ensure the aircrafts to not sit idle.

I hope this Knock service does not effect Aer Arran's service they operate between Galway and Luton as both airports are very close by and is highly unlikely Aer Arran will be able to compete with Ryanair pricewise.

LTN is a 737-800 base and has four aircraft based there.

Probably moving an aircraft or two to Cork for the new base and domestic flight to Dublin.

Also FR announced new flight from Shannon to Malaga.
