Hi there,

Does UA still have 742s? If not, when did they get rid of their last ones? I'm just curious...wondering if I had been on a UA 742 around 96 or 97 on a NRT-HKG route.

No photos in the database of flying UA 742s beyond mid 2000.

I believe they were retired around Dec 2000. They were all ex-QF -238B's . I also think they were relegated to Cali - Hawaii routes towards the end.

They were all ex-QF -238B's .

Actually, 2 were delivered factory fresh to UA in 1987
