Being such an airline fan, I can't wait to see Jodie Fosters new movie Flight Plan due out next week. But I am wondering, the aircraft potrayed in the movie looks almost just like the A380, but they don't call it that. It'll be interesting to see how the movie might answer some of our A380 questions! Some the of the interior shots of the plane seem pretty familiar to that of the ones i've seen of the A380 interior.

Nevertheless, here is the link to the movie website

http://flightplan.movies.go.com/index_main.html

I'll be interested to see how the aspects of a commercial flight are depicted in the movie i.e Flight attendants, captain, airline procedures

Airbus should have allowed them to use the A380 name for the film (E-474, come on). It would have been FREE publicity for them. In the movie "Cast Away" FedEx allowed the producers to use the name for Free, turned out to be a great deal for both!

Maybe the concepts of the movie scared Airbus away!

The movie Flight Plan is SO inacurate!!!!!!
They show a 3 story aircraft, (an A380), and then they show the lady climbing into the attic? And the A380 has no attic!

It is an A380 when you see it fly off, but it's not real. It is digitally enhanced.

When it is on the ground, it is a B747 but again it has been Digitally Enhanced.

Thanks
Mike
