CNBC is saying the filing will come at 4:30 in NYC today...

Why not just post this in one of the existing threads? Until they actually file, we don't need a new one because it's all still speculation.

"This just in...we have gotten word that Delta Airlines' low-fare carrier Song has filed for bankruptcy protection"

It is even on their website:
ATLANTA -- Song, the low-fare carrier of Delta Air Lines Inc., filed for bankruptcy protection Wednesday in what was seen as a precursor to its parent company's own Chapter 11 filing.

Well, this isn't unexpected but I still find it a bit sad. Hopefully Delta's trip through bankruptcy protection will be successful like Continental's in the early 1990s. This is the end of the old Delta, I hope it's the beginning of a new, better one.
