No, the flights to PIT aren't the ideal situation. I'm sure things were much easier when PIT was operating around 500 daily departures and had nonstop service to three cities in Europe. However, the ability to fly on one single itinerary and on one carrier (US Airways/US Airways Express) far outweighs the additional flights offered at Cincinnati, where, without any codesharing alignment or interline agreement with Delta, connecting will be a nightmare -- not to mention the higher fares that will be involved.
