My parents are flying Virgin from LGW to Miami and then Orlando to Gatwick. What aircraft are they likely to be flying on? They will leave and return in July. 742 or 744 i think?

All I have ever seen in MCO is the 742. I was there last month, and two 742's landed one after the other. Impressive sight.

Sorry I moved from SXM, looking for a new house on Anguilla now!

I have heard that Virgin has used B744 into MCO before, but I would bet on a B742.Just like PANAMAN said, I saw the two Virgin B742 come in right behind each other this spring and what a sight it was!!!

Miami is almost always a 747-400 in the summer. It is a 747-200 to Miami in the winter.

It IS a 747-200 to Orlando.

It IS a 747-200. Although like in an earlier post, it would be a rare chance that they change equipment and make it a 747-400. I have seen pics of VA 744's at MCO, but never seen one in person though.
