Ellinopedo, when you come from the US, I guess you arrive at Terminal 2 in FRA ? This is really a great one but avoid the old terminal 1 ( where United arrives ), that scares you away from flying.

You get your choice of 2 trains at LAS, both of which are a kick to ride. Both originate in the main terminal. One goes to the C gates, the other to the D gates. Also, the monorail at EWR is fun. I killed half an afternoon riding back and forth on that thing.

I just read an article on Singapore Changi, seems to be an awesome airport. On the domestic USA side, PIT has to be in the top 5, probably next to DEN.

Auckland airport International terminal is a way cool as you make your way to the immigration area after getting off your plane.
Get outside the terminal and it's a bit boring though.
I also like that you can buy duty free stuff as soon as you get off the plane or right as you're getting on the plane with any currency.
Do many other airports offer this convenience ?

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) takes the biscuit...lush tropical rainforest built into the airport and extensive use of glass and steel with marble mosaics.

TPA is definitely the best. It is the best airport in the entire world. You can see all types of aircraft there, and Delta might start 777 service. Obviously the best.

Have any of you ever been to BCN?
Great!!!
Pink marble everywhere, clever singns and a huge sculpture from colombian artist Fernando Botero (the one who paints chubby people) in the main hall. I think it just reflects the overall well taste of locals for everythinhg, from interior desing to good food. Just a shame Iberia is not a good airline.

I have been fortunate enough to travel to some of the worlds greatest cities and greatest airport (working for an airline has its advantages!!) and i grant you North America has some cool airports (my favourites that ive been to are Vancouver, Orlando, Miami Terminal A, Denver, JFK Terminal One) .....
HOWEVER.....
The World IS a BIG place!!! The BEST of the BEST are NOT in North America....sorry to say guys!!
My vote goes to...
1. Kuala Lumpur International (amazing rainforest inside the terminal - wow!)
2. Singapore Changi (so calm and user friendly)
3. Copenhagen (very clean and functional)
4. Amsterdam Schipol (the big airport with the small airport feel)
5. Melbourne International (Australia's best airport)
So there you go! I hope you all get a chance one day to check these airports out

It is most definately NOT Seattle!
26 LH423: St. Croix! Believe it or not. Someone mentioned how Orlando Int'l can re-creat tropical scenery. Why have a re-creation, when you could have the real
27 Theodule: Hi I don't think that american Airports are very nice at all... except some of them...like JFK Terminal one, Denver... My vote would go to: 1.Paris Ch
28 StarAlliance: Surely the HONG KONG CHEK LAP KOK and the Kansai International Airport. BUT, I don't think the Tokyo Narita Terminal 2 is really beautiful but it just
31 Pitflyer: In the world, dunno -- only been to CDG myself and didn't like that. In the USA -- I've been to every major airport that is considered nice by anyone
33 Seriouslyfunny: i work here every day, and i never get tired of seeing it. it is emaculatly (if i spelled that right) kept. it is so functional, it takes only about 5
34 Peter: I think that the best is Washington National, in Wahington DC. It has huge windows and high ceilings.
35 CXA330-342: Singapore Changi is by far the most beautiful airport around inside and outside.
36 FrontierMan: I love ABQ very much. The sunport has a wonderful Southwestern theme, that I just love. That is the prettiest and coolest airport I've ever been to.
37 Agrodemm: Recently I was transit at Keflavik. The airport is great. Cosy, clean, with great interior colours, great view from big windows, and you don't have to
39 HaanZ: I would agree with Boeing in pdx. Oslo Gardermoen (OSL) is the most stylish, classy, well designed and user friendly airport terminal I've been to. Co
40 Shankly: I can't believe no body has mentioned Sir Norman Fosters Stansted Airport. The 'Tree' structure architecture is pretty much a benchmark for all new te
