Why Are The Iraqi A310s Still Listed By Airbus

Why doesn't Airbus remove the 5 not-built A310s from the homepage? Did Iraqi Airways pay for them, is the contract still valid or are other reasons exisiting? As we all know, these A310s will mostly likely never be built... So why keep them on the Orders and Deliveries page?

I'd guess that the contract was such that the option to build could still be exercised...when that option expires they'll pull them off the list.

Well if Iraqi Airways II has plenty of money, and the market returns to somewhere approaching normality eventually, expect those A310s to be cashed in against A320s or A330s. I'd be amazed if they ever emerged as A310s, but retaining the order gives Airbus a massive advantage over Boeing if and when an order is placed.
