I can ask, one of my MD11/717 instructors used to be the Chief Pilot & Director of Operations at MGM...

From Memory, MGM Grand used to fly DC-8-5?'s, 721's, and I remember a few 757's even. Did they sell or just shut down in the 1993-1994 area? They were, in that time period, part of the company that is now MGM Mirage, Kirk Kerkorian is the largest shareholder and original founder.

I don't recall the 757. The DC8 and the 727, I do remember flying into the executive terminal at LAX.
