I have heard this from a very reliable source but it still only is a rumour:

With a new chief BA is considering merging all there UK Franchise carriers into one big one, BA UK! There Franchise carriers include Cityflyer, Brymon and British Regional!

Anyone else heard this?

I don't see how this could occur, as the francise operators are all independent companies, not owned by BA.

I dont think the contracts would allow it.

I think its a shame that BA swallowes up these companies, because it leaves no change in the UK sky.

I think that BA should try to keep the individuality of the Franchise Partners by
Keeping the world images on their tails, and the union jack on the BA tails.

But, have a tail that reprasents the company.
i.e.
what is the point of having the union' in South Africa and Japan?

So if they had something oriental or japanise on the tail
and something African on Cormairs Aircraft.

I'm flying to london this summer with ba if i get a cockpit visit i will ask the pilots if they know anything. i will do a trip report when i get back
