Probably it's been discussed a zillion times around here, but it's kinda hard reading through posts that have several hundred replies just to find out about the odd rumour, thus I ask the question again:

is there a definitive decision yet about USAirways and Star Alliance? From when on will the HP network be an integral part of Star?

If nothing's confirmed yet, fine. I am not looking for rumours or reasonings...

Yes, US will stay in the alliance.

I'm not sure sorry.

To be honest, where else could US go? Skyteam is bursting at the seams with US carriers, stretch and oneworld is probably not interested in US - I don't think AA would like it!
So STAR it is!

Simply continue without an alliance, if that was coherent with their strategy of "kind-of-LCC"

Why would US want to leave a better alliance for a second rate one? Like downgrading yourself from first to worst. Smile

I see US with a good future in STAR, now with a bigger network ...

No we are waiting that the new US hubs will be soon Star-Alliance Worldhubs and get some conection by other Star carriers.
