This is a question for those who have flown UA on transatlantic routes very recently.
I have noticed that on the web site they now list eight movies each way, while up to recently it has only been six. Now here's my question:
Do they show all eight of them at the same time and then show them over (the way it was done with the six-movie-setup),
OR
will they have two sets of four each (like they did back in 2000)?
I won't be flying transatlantically until December, but I am just curious as to what's going on at my favorite airline.

You mean the PTV aircraft or the non-PTV? (Do the PTV have VOD in Economy yet?)
On 08 Sept FRA-SFO flight 901, B744 so no PTV's, they showed four movies. The website lists six. They showed Hitchikers Guide, Game of their Lives, Never Been Kissed as the first three, which are on the list of six for Germany -> SFO flights, and Madagascar, which is not.

Yes, I mean the 767/777 fleet. There are PTVs. I was stuck on one of their 744s a while ago and was very sad to find that they didn't have any on those.
BTW: There is no VOD on United so far. No outside cameras either.
