Why Is The KL Flight To IAD Cancelled Today?

Why is flight KL0651, AMS-IAD, cancelled today(09/23)?

Did you check the KLM site? It says technical reasons. I'm sure it is not the only flight KLM will cancel today.

Yes I Did! I said the flights to Houston were cancelled too! But I didn't said it was due to technical reasons! I know that the IAH flights are cancelled due to Rita!

He's asking about a flight to IAD (Washington-Dulles) and not IAH (Houston). KLM flies a 767 to Dulles, not a 332. It'll switch to a 332 later this year.

We've seen few times here at IAD 767 subbing for A330. Its been quite a few times last week.
Is KLM having problems with new equipment?

What? Not yet they aren't, no. The schedule continues to be a 767-300ER.

Guys,

Go out to IAD and enjoy view of new KLM A330.
KLM has started service to IAD using A330 on September 1st. I have pictures of KL bird at IAD but I can't post it here yet. It will be in Airways magazine so I have to wait.
